From rubble to walls to the high-speed train: 1859 – 2009.

Main act commemorating Year of Fuster. 150 years of urban transformation in the city of Lleida, a period starting with the arrival of Manuel de Fuster as Mayor and culminating in the arrival of the AVE high-speed train. The exhibition examines the evolution of rail transport as catalyst for change.

Modernist Fair of Terrassa

On the weekend of 9-10 May, Terrassa will hold the 7 th edition of its Modernist Fair, an invitation to dress up in Modernist period clothing and go out into the streets of Terrassa to learn about its heritage and industrial past. It's an excellent opportunity to see the way people lived, ate, worked and entertained themselves at the turn of 1900.

25 years of leather

The exhibition commemorates 25 years since the founding of the Escola d'Art; a collection of works, projects and commissions produced by students and professors of the School of Art over the years. The exhibition also provides an educational guided tour showing the process of leather-making.

14 th TICCIH Congress “Industrial heritage, ecology and economy”

The aim of the “Industrial heritage, ecology and economy” congress is to define environmental, economic, technical, social and historical problems with regard to industrial heritage in the modern world. The congress is seen as a possible future forum where these concepts can be presented and discussed, and where participants can work to find appropriate solutions.

Environmental Fair

Bioconstruction, renewable energies, natural products and recycling are just some of the subjects to be dealt with at the Tàrrega Environmental Fair, which celebrates its 10 th edition this weekend. With a clear educational purpose in mind, the fair's organisers have put together an awareness activities programme that includes theatre, shows and film, among other activities.
