The mNACTEC has a workshop space in which to carry out all the works of restoration, repair, conservation and, if necessary, putting back into working order, of the technical and scientific artefacts that make up the mNACTEC’s collections. Maintenance is undertaken here to the modules and exhibition supports, as well as research projects and investigation in order to make reproductions and replicas of vanished scientific and technical items.

This workshop, the only one of its kind, has become a reference point over the years for the conservation and repair of Catalonia’s technical and scientific heritage.
