"Industrial Archaeology and Industrial
Heritage" includes historiography, heuristics and case studies. The first part
deals with the development, definitions and the theory of the field (mainly
Europe), the second part covers the sources (i.e. written sources, iconography,
sites & objects, and "sound" sources), and the third part develops four to
five case studies (e.g. Thurn & Taxis, working-class dwellings, machine
building, consumer goods).
